Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Full Stack Java Developer at Wellness360 located in Hyderabad. We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team for a challenging and rewarding experience. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Java Full-Stack Engineer to add value to our growing development team. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in Java full-stack development with strong leadership skills to drive innovation and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications
- Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze requirements
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation
- Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews
Qualifications

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and tools
- Excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn
- 2+ years of full-stack development( any UI technologies & Java/Spring is a preferred backend) experience
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design & having RPC/GRPC knowledge.
- Proficiency in SQL(Mysql is preferred) and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)

Case Study:
You are tasked with designing and implementing a RESTful API for a task management system. The system should allow users to create, read, update, and delete tasks, as well as mark them as complete.
### Requirements:
1. Implement the following API endpoints:
- GET /tasks: Retrieve all tasks
- GET /tasks/{id}: Retrieve a specific task by ID
- POST /tasks: Create a new task
- PUT /tasks/{id}: Update an existing task
- DELETE /tasks/{id}: Delete a task
- PATCH /tasks/{id}/complete: Mark a task as complete
2. Each task should have the following properties:
- id (unique identifier)
- title (string)
- description (string)
- due_date (date)
- status (enum: "pending", "in_progress", "completed")
- created_at (timestamp)
- updated_at (timestamp)
3. Implement basic error handling and input validation.
4. Use appropriate HTTP status codes for responses.
5. Implement at least one unit test for a critical function.
6. Bonus: Implement basic authentication for the API.
### Technical Specifications:
- Use any programming language and framework of your choice (e.g., Python with Flask, Node.js with Express, Java with Spring Boot). Java with Spring Boot will be preferred.
- Use an in-memory data store or a simple file-based storage for this exercise.
- Provide clear documentation on how to run and test your application.
### Evaluation Criteria:
1. Code quality and organization
2. Proper use of RESTful principles
3. Error handling and input validation
4. Efficiency of data structures and algorithms used
5. Adherence to best practices in the chosen language/framework
6. Quality of documentation and comments

### Time Limit:
Candidates should aim to complete this case study within 2-3 days. The focus should be on demonstrating clean, well-structured code rather than implementing every possible feature.
