About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Full Stack Intern to join our remote team in India for a 3-month full-time internship. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the development of our Minimum Viable Product (MVP), working across both frontend and backend systems. As part of our product team, you will be involved in building core features, implementing scalable solutions, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and leadership. This hands-on role provides meaningful ownership and the chance to make a tangible impact on the company's growth trajectory. The ideal candidate will have a passion for software development, a strong foundation in full-stack technologies, and a desire to learn and grow within a dynamic startup environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be currently pursuing or recently have completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from reputed institutions such as IIT or IIIT. Candidates must demonstrate strong hands-on experience in developing native iOS applications using Swift, along with familiarity with iOS SDKs and Apple frameworks. A deep understanding of SwiftUI and UIKit architectures is essential. The candidate should have a proven track record of building scalable, production-ready mobile applications and possess a comprehensive understanding of mobile application lifecycle management, including state management, concurrency, memory management, and performance optimization.
Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs, integrating backend systems, and working with databases, authentication mechanisms, networking layers, and cloud infrastructure is required. Familiarity with version control tools like Git, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development practices is also necessary. Strong debugging, testing, and performance optimization skills are critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain core iOS application features for the Village MVP, ensuring high quality and performance.
- Develop scalable, clean, and maintainable frontend architecture following industry best practices.
- Contribute to backend integrations, APIs, and data handling workflows to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
- Implement UI/UX designs with a focus on user experience, responsiveness, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and leadership to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making processes.
- Debug, test, and optimize applications to ensure reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Maintain thorough documentation of code and development processes to facilitate team collaboration and future maintenance.
- Engage in rapid iteration cycles typical of startup environments, adapting quickly to changing priorities and feedback.
