Job details:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is a full-time, fully remote internship for a Full-Stack Engineering Intern, open to candidates anywhere in India. The probation period is six months, with a full-time offer on successful completion. You will write production code across the stack from your first week — interfaces in React and Next.js on one side, services, APIs, database schemas and background processing on the other.
The engineering team is small and senior, which means you will own features end to end and get real code review, rather than shadow someone else’s tickets. We care far more about how you think than how long you have been working.
If you can reason from first principles, explain your decisions clearly, and write code that someone else can maintain, the number of years on your CV is not the point.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-TypeScript — strong working proficiency, along with the modern JavaScript underneath it: types and generics, closures, modules, promises, async/await, and the event loop.
-Node.js — hands-on experience building server-side applications and REST APIs that have actually run somewhere. React and Next.js — building real interfaces with components and hooks; routing, data fetching, server-side and client-side rendering, and forms.
-Frontend fundamentals — solid HTML and CSS, responsive layout, accessibility basics, and comfort with a utility framework such as Tailwind CSS.
-Frontend system design — component structure, state management and where state belongs (local, global or server), caching and data-fetching patterns, rendering behaviour, and performance optimisation.
-Python — working proficiency for scripting, automation, data handling and internal tooling.
Data structures and algorithms — arrays, hash maps, stacks and queues, trees, heaps and graphs; sorting, searching, recursion, two pointers, sliding window, and the basics of dynamic programming. You should be able to analyse time and space complexity and justify your approach.
-Relational databases (PostgreSQL, Supabase) — schema design, joins and aggregations, indexing, transactions, and query optimisation.
-Document databases (MongoDB) — document modelling, indexing, aggregation pipelines, and the judgement to know when a document store is the wrong choice.
-Scalable system design — caching, message queues and background workers, idempotency, retries and backoff, rate limiting, and how systems behave when a dependency is slow rather than down.
-Low-level design — OOP and SOLID applied in practice, clean interfaces and separation of concerns, sensible use of design patterns, and code that survives its second requirement change.
-Computer science fundamentals — operating systems, processes and threads, concurrency and race conditions, and networking: HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, REST, webhooks and WebSockets.
-Tooling — comfortable with Git, the Linux command line, and REST clients such as Postman.
-English, written and spoken — we are remote and work asynchronously, so most decisions happen in writing. Clear writing counts as much as clean code. Exposure to Redis, Docker, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, testing libraries, or LLM APIs is a plus.
No minimum years of experience and no degree requirement.
Personal projects, open-source contributions and a GitHub profile count fully, provided you can explain the decisions behind them.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Build and ship user-facing features end to end, from the interface down to the database
-Develop and maintain frontend applications in React, Next.js and TypeScript
-Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs in TypeScript and Node.js
-Design database schemas, write efficient queries, and run migrations safely against live data
-Work on background jobs, queues and asynchronous processing
-Integrate and maintain third-party APIs and webhooks
-Write scripts and internal tooling in Python
-Apply data structures, algorithms and system design thinking to real performance and scale problems -Optimise frontend performance — rendering, bundle size, data fetching and caching
-Write clean, tested, documented code and take part in code review
-Debug production issues across the full stack, from symptom to root cause
-Communicate clearly in writing — pull request descriptions, short design notes, status updates
-Own your work end-to-end: problem → design → build → production
WHAT WE OFFER:
-Fully remote. Work from anywhere in India, with flexible hours and a sensible overlap window.
-Direct mentorship from experienced engineers, and code review that tells you what is wrong and why.
-Real ownership. Your work ships and gets used — nothing here is a training exercise.
-A calm environment: few meetings, no micromanagement, and long stretches of uninterrupted time to think.
-Broad exposure. A small team means you see architecture, product decisions and customers, not one narrow slice.
-Stipend : Rs.5,000
-A full-time offer on successful completion of the six-month probation.
