Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Full Stack Engineer (Node.js and React.js). The person in this role will design, develop, test, and maintain web applications across the full stack, with a focus on Node.js-based backend services and React.js-based user interfaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing performance, integrating APIs, and ensuring code quality through reviews, automated testing, and documentation. The Full Stack Engineer will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to translate requirements into robust solutions and participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. The role also involves monitoring application reliability, addressing technical issues, and contributing to architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience: 2-3 years
Qualifications
- Strong Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills, with hands-on experience in Node.js and React.js.
- Proficiency in Front-End Development, including modern JavaScript frameworks, responsive design, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
- Experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, data modeling, and integration with databases.
- Ability to work effectively in remote, agile teams, with solid communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD practices, testing frameworks, and application security fundamentals.
- Relevant experience in building production-grade web applications; a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is beneficial.
- Comfort with learning new tools and technologies, and contributing to technical decisions, documentation, and code quality standards.
