About MeghaX
MeghaX is a fast-growing multi-tenant SaaS platform building enterprise software. You'll join a small, senior-heavy engineering team where your work ships to real customers and has a direct business impact.
What you'll actually do
- Ship features end-to-end across PHP/Laravel APIs and React/TypeScript UIs.
- Work inside a mature, multi-module codebase extending existing systems.
- Write backend logic that respects strict multi-tenant data isolation.
- Manage branch release coordination across environments.
- Debug PostgreSQL performance query plans, indexes, and N+1s.
- Contribute to our role-based access control system.
What you must bring
- Backend: 3+ years on PHP 8.x and Laravel 10 or 11 in production. Strong on Eloquent (relationships, eager loading, scopes), service container, middleware, queues, events/listeners, observers, policies. Comfortable with Passport or Sanctum for OAuth/token auth.
- Frontend: 2+ years on React 18 with TypeScript (strict mode). Hooks, Context API, custom hooks, controlled forms. Production experience with Ant Design or MUI and Vite. Understands React rendering and when not to add state.
- Database: PostgreSQL at a real level — joins, indexes, EXPLAIN, window functions, CTEs. Has written non-trivial SQL outside an ORM and knows when the ORM is the wrong tool.
- Engineering: Git at a working level (rebase, cherry-pick, force-push-with-lease, bisect). REST API versioning, idempotency, pagination, error contracts. Reads other people's code as a default skill, not a chore. Understands multi-tenant patterns — pivot tables, scoped queries, tenant-aware caching.
Strongly preferred
- AWS: EC2, RDS, S3, IAM (can read a policy document without panicking).
- Docker and docker-compose (we ship via Dockerfile_prod and Laravel Sail locally).
- CI/CD: AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.
- Feature flagging or progressive rollout experience.
- Has shipped to a multi-tenant SaaS before.
Nice to have
- Uses AI coding assistants (Copilot, Claude, Cursor) daily and prompts well.
- Knows when to trust AI output and when to verify — doesn't merge what they don't understand.
