Why Vyazen?
Modern software systems are becoming too complex to fully understand. Large codebases span millions of lines of code, thousands of files, and deeply interconnected architectures. Understanding, navigating, and evolving these systems is becoming harder every year. Vyazen is building a platform that helps developers and intelligent systems understand large codebases through deep structural and semantic analysis. Our goal is to enable engineers and AI agents to collaborate with shared context — making complex software systems easier to explore, maintain, and evolve.

What you'll do
- Build core developer tooling – Work on systems that analyze and understand large codebases (AST parsing, dependency graphs, code analysis).
- Ship real features – Contribute to production systems across our TypeScript/NestJS-based platform.
- Work with code graphs – Help model and query relationships across large repositories.
- Build AI-assisted systems – Help design tools that allow AI agents to reason about codebases.
- Iterate quickly – Prototype new ideas, test them, and refine them based on real usage.
- Collaborate with the founding team – Work closely with engineers to design and ship core platform capabilities.
- Focus on quality – Write clean TypeScript, well-structured code, and thoughtful tests
You might be the one if…
- You’ve built at least one meaningful project using TypeScript/Node.js, Python, or Go.
- You enjoy working on systems-level problems, not just UI features.
- You are curious about how large codebases work internally.
- You are comfortable with Git, command line tools, and modern development workflows.
- You enjoy breaking down complex problems and building structured solutions.
- You like learning new technologies quickly and experimenting with ideas.
Bonus points if you’ve explored:
- compilers or AST parsing
- graph databases
- static code analysis
- developer tooling
- LLMs or AI-assisted programming
