Job Title: Full Stack Engineer & Co-Founder (Equity-Heavy)
Location: Remote-first (strong preference for India / APAC time zones)
Commitment: Full-time
Equity: Significant founder-level equity (0.5% – 2.0%+ depending on experience and negotiation) + competitive salary
About the Company
We are an early-stage HealthTech startup building an AI-powered platform focused on sexual wellbeing. Our mission is to make personalized, science-backed sexual health, intimacy, and pleasure education accessible, stigma-free, and proactive through intelligent technology.
We’ve validated the problem, have strong founder expertise, and are now looking for a technical co-founder who will own the entire product engineering side from day one.
This is a true Co-Founder role with meaningful ownership, equity, and strategic influence.
Role Overview
As the Full Stack Engineer & Co-Founder, you will be the founding engineer responsible for designing, architecting, and building the complete product from 0 to 1. You’ll work closely with the CEO on product vision, roadmap, user experience, and fundraising.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and build a secure, scalable full-stack application (web + potential mobile)
- Develop AI-integrated features such as personalized recommendations, sexual health insights, habit tracking, and educational content
- Create beautiful, intuitive, discreet, and responsive user interfaces
- Build secure backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines with strong emphasis on privacy
- Implement core wellness algorithms and user analytics
- Set up cloud infrastructure, DevOps, monitoring, and security best practices
- Make critical technical decisions with deep focus on data privacy, consent, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA-equivalent standards)
- Collaborate on product strategy, feature prioritization, and go-to-market
- Hire and lead future engineering team as we scale
- Support fundraising, investor demos, and overall company building
Tech Stack (Preferred)
- Frontend: Next.js / React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
- Backend: Node.js (NestJS) or Python (FastAPI)
- AI/ML: Experience with LLMs (OpenAI/Anthropic), recommendation systems, or personalized AI coaching
- Database: PostgreSQL, Redis
- Cloud & Security: AWS / GCP / Vercel + strong security practices (encryption, anonymization)
- Mobile: Bonus – React Native or Flutter
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have:
- 4+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience
- End-to-end ownership of at least one production-grade product
- Strong product intuition, especially for consumer health & wellness apps
- High ownership, speed of execution, and comfort working in sensitive domains
- Startup experience (highly preferred)
- Passion for health, wellness, technology, and reducing stigma
Big Plus:
- Experience in HealthTech, Sexual Health, Mental Wellness, or FemTech/Men’s Health apps
- AI/ML integration experience (especially personalization & recommendation engines)
- Previous co-founder or very early-stage startup background
- Strong GitHub / portfolio with shipped, high-quality products
Compensation & Equity
- Salary: ₹25–50 LPA (or equivalent) based on experience
- Equity: Substantial founder-level equity with 4-year vesting + 1-year cliff
