About the job:
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer (Backend Heavy) to join us. The person in this role will be an integral part of a fast-moving, ownership-driven team across client engagements and internal initiatives. This is a hands-on, learning-intensive, execution-oriented role with strong coaching and mentorship built in. This role is based in our Hyderabad office (on-site).
About us:
We’re a new age tech & analytics services company. We’re HQ’ed in Hyderabad with clients across the world.
Initial Responsibilities
TL;DR: Ship backend-heavy Python code on client projects and internal initiatives, with senior engineers coaching you along the way.
- Build and ship backend services and APIs on client engagements, working alongside senior engineers from spec to production
- Contribute to internal initiatives: tooling, prototypes, and product experiments, with the occasional frontend work (Angular preferred) when projects call for it
- Write clean, testable Python across frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or Flask; design relational schemas and write efficient SQL
- Own your code end-to-end: debug, test, deploy, participate in code reviews, and raise the quality bar over time
- Take coaching seriously and sharpen fundamentals in system design, data structures, and engineering best practices, collaborating directly with the founder, senior engineers, and occasionally client stakeholders
Qualifications
TL;DR: Strong Python fundamentals are non-negotiable. Everything else can be learned, but you should bring genuine curiosity and the ability to figure things out.
You Are:
- 0 to 1.5 years into your software engineering journey, internships included
- Curious and self-motivated, humble enough to take feedback and sharp enough to act on it
- Someone who ships side projects, contributes to open source, or has a GitHub we can browse
Must-haves:
- Python, with hands-on experience in FastAPI
- PostgreSQL (schema design, writing efficient SQL, working with an ORM)
- CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, basic system design intuition, REST APIs, HTTP, Git, and the command line
Nice-to-haves:
- LangChain or LangGraph
- Angular (or any frontend framework: React, Vue, plain JS)
