ZEG India continues to grow rapidly and is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to build a custom internal platform. The role involves building data-heavy dashboards, integrating third-party REST APIs, implementing AI-powered document generation using RAG, and delivering a polished, production-ready application from scratch. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, personable, and professionally driven, with a strong interest in contributing to ZEG’s mission of decarbonizing the power grid.
What You’ll Do
- Build full-stack features end-to-end — FastAPI endpoints, PostgreSQL models, and Next.js UI
- Develop complex data tables with sorting, filtering, pagination, inline editing, and export
- Integrate third-party REST APIs with OAuth2 authentication and token lifecycle management
- Implement a RAG pipeline — document ingestion, embedding generation, vector search, and LLM-powered content generation
- Build interactive dashboards and financial reports with charts and visualizations
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Azure cloud deployments, and monitoring
- Write clean, maintainable code in a fast-paced environment with daily use of AI coding assistants
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, SQLAlchemy) and TypeScript (Next.js, React)
- Solid PostgreSQL skills — schema design, migrations, indexing, raw SQL when needed
- Experience building UI with Tailwind CSS and component libraries (shadcn/ui preferred)
- Hands-on experience integrating REST APIs with OAuth2 flows and webhook handling
- Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude) and vector databases (pgvector or similar)
- Self-directed, async-first communicator who can unblock themselves and ship independently
Nice to Have
- Experience with rich text editors (TipTap, Plate.js, Slate etc)
- Data visualization libraries (Recharts, Chart.js, D3 etc)
- Document generation (python-docx, PDF libraries, Jinja2 templates etc)
- Azure deployment (App Service, Static Web Apps, PostgreSQL Flexible Server)
- RAG pipeline architecture (chunking strategies, retrieval tuning, prompt engineering)
