intractive, personalized learning experience that helps students practice,
revise, and master concepts faster — all in one place.
We are a fast-moving early-stage startup looking for a passionate and
skilled developer to join us and help ship our MVP.
ROLE OVERVIEW
-------------
We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer who can take ownership of building
our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) end-to-end. You will work closely with the
founder and design team to translate ideas and wireframes into a fully
functional, production-ready web application.
RESPONSIBILITIES
----------------
- Build and maintain both frontend and backend of the TutorTalkAI platform
- Develop responsive, performant UI using Next.js / React
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
(e.g., OpenAI, YouTube, payment gateways)
- Set up and manage databases (PostgreSQL)
- Integrate AI/LLM features for personalized learning flows
- Handle authentication, authorization, and user session management
- Collaborate with the founder to prioritize and ship features quickly
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Deploy and maintain the app on cloud platforms (Vercel, AWS, etc.)
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture decisions
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Experience in full-stack web development
- Strong proficiency in:
• Frontend: React.js / Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
• Backend: Node.js, REST APIs, Express.js or Next.js API routes
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firebase
• Version Control: Git & GitHub
- Experience with authentication systems (e.g., Clerk, NextAuth, Firebase Auth)
- Familiarity with AI/LLM API integrations (OpenAI, Gemini, etc.) is a plus
- Ability to work independently, move fast, and own features end-to-end
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
NICE TO HAVE
------------
- Experience building ed-tech or SaaS products
- Knowledge of vector databases or RAG pipelines
- Exposure to cloud services (AWS, GCP, Vercel)
- Prior experience working at a startup or in a fast-paced environment
