Full Stack Developer – AI Products
Remote · Full-Time · Flexible Hours

About ShiftX AI
We build AI systems that ship to production — not prototypes that live in a slide deck. Our platforms are used by real organizations dealing with complex, high-stakes operations. The team is around 20 people, lean and focused, and every engineer here has a direct line to the product and the customer.
Our products include Solvik (an AI-powered testing platform) and BiddingHub (a patented workforce scheduling system). We also work on enterprise AI strategy and intelligent agent systems for external clients.
Our Stack
React, Next.js, Java, Spring Boot, and a range of LLM and agent frameworks. We pick tools that fit the problem, not the other way around. If you have experience with any of these, you’ll find your footing quickly.
What You’ll Do
- Build and ship frontend and backend features across Solvik, BiddingHub, and client projects — you’ll own features end to end, not just tickets
- Design and develop scalable APIs and backend services that support AI-driven workflows
- Create clean, intuitive product interfaces — our users are enterprise teams, so clarity matters more than flashiness
- Integrate LLM capabilities, agent frameworks, and automation pipelines into production applications
- Collaborate directly with product and founding team members to shape what we build next
- Debug, optimize, and keep systems reliable — the boring stuff that makes everything else possible
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on full stack development experience
- Strong experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks — React or Next.js preferred
- Backend chops in Java/Spring, Node.js, Python, or something comparable
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, relational databases, and system design fundamentals
- Someone who can take a loosely defined problem and turn it into working software without needing every detail spelled out
- Comfort working asynchronously in a remote environment with some timezone overlap for collaboration
Nice to Have
- Experience working with AI/ML APIs, LLM integrations, or agent orchestration frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud platforms — AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Prior experience in a startup or small-team environment where you wore multiple hats
