Job details:
SecComply is a Pune-based cybersecurity and compliance automation company building Overwatch — India's first compliance platform purpose-built for SMEs, startups, and mid-market companies. We help organisations earn and maintain certifications across ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and India's DPDP Act.
We are a small, focused team operating at the intersection of cybersecurity, AI governance, and compliance technology. Our platform is growing fast — and we need a developer who wants to own product development end-to-end, not just execute tickets.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a founding-team-adjacent role. You will work directly with the CEO You will own the frontend and fullstack product layer across three major feature releases in three months:
Timeline
Feature Focus
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
• Frontend product development in Next.js 14 (App Router) and TypeScript
– Component library, dashboard layouts, data tables, form flows
– Performance, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness
• BFF-layer API integration between frontend and our Express/Supabase backend
• End-to-end feature delivery — design to deployment, not just implementation
• Test coverage — adding Playwright E2E tests and React Testing Library unit tests alongside every feature
• Participating in architecture decisions for SL2 multi-tenancy and SL3 AI module
OUR TECH STACK
Frontend
Next.js 14 (App Router), TypeScript, React, Tailwind CSS
Backend / BFF
Express.js, Node.js, TypeScript
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Non-negotiable
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience with React and Next.js — App Router specifically, not just Pages Router
• TypeScript proficiency: you read and extend existing types without needing hand-holding
• Supabase or PostgreSQL experience — you understand RLS and auth flows
• REST API design with Express or a comparable Node framework
• You have shipped a B2B product feature end-to-end and can walk us through it
Strong preference
• Prior experience at a SaaS or B2B product company (not just services/agencies)
• Playwright or any E2E testing experience — you write tests, not skip them
• Exposure to role-based access control, audit trails, or compliance-adjacent UI
• Comfortable reading security-oriented backend code (JWT flows, permission checks)
Who you are
• You ask what the user needs before you touch the code
• You own your work through to production — bugs included
• You communicate blockers early, not the day before a deadline
• You are energised by a small team where your output visibly moves the product
WHAT WE OFFER
Compensation & Role
• Direct access to the CEO and founding team
• Ownership of the frontend product layer — not a cog in a machine
• in-person, Pune
Growth & Impact
• Work on India's first DPDP Act-native compliance platform
• Build AI governance features before any competitor ships them
• Your code reaches real enterprise security teams from day one
• Path to senior role as team
