Role Description The Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain end-to-end web applications that power OPTRAA’s SaaS products for the education domain. Responsibilities include implementing responsive user interfaces, building robust back-end services and APIs, integrating with databases and third-party services, and ensuring application scalability, performance, and security. The role involves collaborating closely with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to refine requirements, review code, and deliver high-quality releases in an agile environment. The engineer will also participate in troubleshooting, performance tuning, documentation, and continuous improvement of the existing codebase and deployment pipelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Front-End Development, including modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), with a focus on responsive and accessible UI implementation.
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, building RESTful APIs and services, and working with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and server-side frameworks.
- Proficiency in Full-Stack Development and Software Development practices, including version control, testing, debugging, and code reviews.
- Good understanding of web application architecture, performance optimization, security best practices, and deployment on cloud or on-premise environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team, communicate clearly, and deliver solutions in an iterative, agile setup.
- Experience building SaaS or education technology products is an advantage.
- Knowledge on PHP and MySQL is added advantage
- Experience on Migration of legacy tech will be preferred
