Role Description
We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong backend orientation to join our core engineering team. You'll be the backbone of our server-side infrastructure — building scalable systems, managing cloud environments, integrating AI-driven capabilities, and ensuring our mobile product performs flawlessly at every layer.
This is not a ticket-closing role. You'll be a key technical decision-maker who shapes how we build.
What You'll Do
- Architect and maintain a scalable backend powering a high-traffic, user-centric mobile application
- Build and manage REST APIs and async services using Django, FastAPI, and Python
- Develop and integrate AI features and LLM wrappers using Python (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar)
- Own VPS server management across platforms like Vultr, DigitalOcean, and AWS — deployments, scaling, uptime, and cost optimization
- Manage databases, including managed DB solutions, Supabase, handling migrations, query optimization, and data integrity
- Implement and maintain Cron jobs, cURL integrations, webhooks, and scheduled task pipelines
- Enforce security best practices — authentication, authorization, rate limiting, data encryption, and vulnerability patching
- Collaborate with frontend and mobile teams, contributing to React / Next.js surfaces where needed
- Write clean, maintainable code with proper documentation and review culture

Backend: Python, Django, FastAPI
Frontend: React, Next.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Cloud & Infra: AWS, DigitalOcean, Vultr, Linux/VPS
Databases: PostgreSQL, Supabase, Managed DB solutions
AI/ML: Python-based LLM wrappers, API integrations (OpenAI / Anthropic, etc.)
Tools & Practices: Cron, cURL, REST APIs, Git, CI/CD, Security hardening
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of professional full stack development experience
- Deep expertise in Django and FastAPI — you know the internals, not just the surface
- Proven experience with VPS / cloud server management and production-grade deployments
- Hands-on with Supabase or similar BaaS and managed database environments
- Real-world experience building and deploying AI-powered features using Python
- Strong understanding of application security — you think about attack surfaces before someone finds them
- Comfortable working with mobile-first backend architecture (REST APIs, token auth, push notification infra, etc.)
- Self-directed, communicates proactively, and takes ownership end-to-end
Bonus Points
- Experience with WebSockets or real-time systems
- Familiarity with Docker, Nginx, or reverse proxy setups
- Prior experience working on a B2C mobile product at scale
- Contributions to open source or AI tooling projects
