Role Description
As a Full Stack Developer at LowerPlane, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of end-to-end features across our compliance automation platform. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build scalable front-end interfaces and robust back-end services that support workflows, policy generation, and evidence management. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, participating in code reviews, optimizing application performance, and integrating third-party services and APIs. You will also help improve engineering practices, contribute to technical documentation, and assist with troubleshooting production issues. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and systems design.
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) for building scalable, maintainable software solutions.
- Experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, including API design and integration.
- Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and responsive UI development.
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases, query optimization, and data modeling.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines for deploying and monitoring applications.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and participate in agile development processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience building SaaS products or working in security, compliance, or B2B software environments is a plus.
