Role: Full Stack Engineer
Location: Bharuch (On-site)

Hexoforge is a technology and digital solutions company. We build custom software, web platforms, and AI-powered workflows for businesses. We're looking for an engineer who can own systems end to end — not someone who dabbles across the stack, but someone with real depth.
What we need:
On the backend, we expect strong expertise in Node.js — not just spinning up an Express server, but understanding the runtime at a deeper level. Event loops, streams, clustering, and knowing when to reach for frameworks like NestJS or Fastify. You should have hands-on experience designing Microservices architectures, building well-structured REST and GraphQL APIs, and writing backends that are optimized for performance at scale.
On the frontend, we need someone comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks like React and Next.js. You should be able to take a Figma wireframe and convert it into clean, responsive, production-ready code independently.
On tooling, we work with PNPM, monorepos, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments. Familiarity with this ecosystem is expected.
On AI, we're actively building with AI Agents and LLM integrations — tool-use patterns, retrieval systems, and intelligent workflows. Experience in this space is a strong plus.
Our engineering philosophy around AI:
We encourage our developers to use agentic coding tools like Cursor and Claude Code to rapidly prototype ideas and build toy versions of software. It's a genuine productivity multiplier during exploration. That said, we don't ship AI-generated code to production. Our experience has been that it degrades code quality over time — subtle inconsistencies, poor maintainability, and technical debt that compounds. Every line of production code at Hexoforge is written and understood by the engineer who commits it.
