About Exin Health AIExin Health AI is a U.S.-based healthcare technology company building next-generation software for ambulatory surgery centers and operating rooms.
Our product, ORGenie, is an AI-powered platform that helps clinical and operational teams streamline surgical workflows, reduce manual documentation, improve supply and implant capture, automate administrative processes, and gain better visibility into each surgical case.
We are looking for a hands-on Full Stack Developer based in India to join our team full-time. You will work closely with our product and engineering team to build and support production features across the stack.
We do not expect candidates to know every technology we use. Strong engineering fundamentals, ownership, and the ability to learn quickly matter more.
Responsibilities- Build, test, and maintain full-stack product features across frontend, backend, database, and cloud environments.
- Develop backend services and REST APIs primarily using Python with Flask or FastAPI.
- Integrate React and TypeScript applications with backend services and databases.
- Translate product and workflow requirements into reliable application logic.
- Implement validation, error handling, authentication, authorization, and role-based access.
- Design and maintain SQL queries, PostgreSQL data models, and database migrations.
- Build and support containerized and serverless services in Google Cloud.
- Integrate external APIs, third-party systems, and AI/LLM-powered capabilities.
- Write automated tests and perform end-to-end feature validation.
- Debug production issues using logs and monitoring tools.
- Participate in code reviews and support CI/CD deployment workflows.
- Take ownership of assigned features through development, testing, review, and completion.
Qualifications- 2-4 years of professional full-stack or backend development experience.
- Strong backend development experience, preferably with Python.
- Experience with Flask, FastAPI, or a comparable backend framework.
- Working experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
- Strong SQL fundamentals and experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database.
- Understanding of system design and API design fundamentals.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization concepts such as JWT, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or RBAC.
- Experience with Git, pull requests, automated testing, Docker, and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience working with GCP, AWS, Azure, or another cloud platform.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and ownership skills.
- Ability to understand an existing codebase, follow established patterns, and learn unfamiliar technologies quickly.
