Requirements
- 4+ years of fullstack experience with strong backend depth
- Proficient in Python (FastAPI) and React/Next.js
- Prior experience in fintech, lending, banking, or financial systems
- Strong understanding of lending, interest calculation, and payment workflows
- Experience with PostgreSQL and financial data modeling
- Knowledge of APIs, system design, and scalable backend architecture
- Familiarity with banking integrations (ACH, wires, payment rails)
- Experience handling sensitive data with security best practices
- Strong problem-solving and ability to ship production systems
Responsibilities
- Build backend APIs for lending, credit, factoring, and leasing workflows
- Develop financial systems like loan origination, disbursement, and repayment pipelines
- Implement risk models including credit scoring and underwriting logic
- Build and maintain ledger systems for accurate financial tracking
- Develop frontend dashboards and financing interfaces
- Integrate with banking systems and payment infrastructure
- Ensure security, compliance, and data protection standards
- Own system reliability, monitoring, and production stability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial systems
