Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Full Stack Engineer based in Gurugram. The engineer will be responsible for building and scaling end-to-end web applications using the MERN stack, along with Python-based services where required. The role involves developing high-performance, responsive front-end interfaces using React.js, designing scalable back-end systems with Node.js and Express, and integrating RESTful and event-driven APIs.
You will work on cloud-native applications deployed on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS. The role also includes implementing caching strategies using Redis, handling asynchronous workflows with RabbitMQ, and managing relational databases like PostgreSQL. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and DevOps teams, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and ensure clean, maintainable, and production-ready code across the entire software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Full Stack Development with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js (Express/NestJS) and working knowledge of Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask)
- Proficiency in frontend development using React.js, Redux/Zustand, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS / Bootstrap, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, query optimization) and familiarity with MongoDB
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and basic knowledge of Lambda & IAM
- Working knowledge of Redis for caching, session management, and performance optimization
- Experience using RabbitMQ / message queues for asynchronous processing and microservices communication
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JWT authentication, and API security best practices
- Experience with Docker (basic containerization) and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions / GitLab CI
- Familiarity with Nginx, PM2, and deployment strategies for production-grade applications
- Proficiency with Git version control and collaborative workflows (PRs, code reviews)
- Good understanding of system design fundamentals, scalability, and performance optimization
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
