At Nucleus, we’re building AI products that help people work with intelligent systems in ways that are practical, reliable, and deeply useful. We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to shape the product experiences that let users interact with, guide, and manage AI agents in production.
In this role, you will
- Build end-to-end product features across frontend and backend for AI agents & agentic workflows.
- Design and implement user interfaces that help people interact with, monitor, manage, and refine agent behavior.
- Develop backend services and APIs that support agent execution, task state, workflow orchestration, permissions, and persistence.
- Work closely with product, design, research, and platform teams to turn emerging agent capabilities into clear and dependable user experiences.
- Create product flows for launching tasks, reviewing outcomes, managing tools and settings, and understanding agent decisions and status.
- Improve system performance, observability, reliability, and usability across agent-facing product surfaces.
- Contribute reusable patterns, components, and abstractions that help agent experiences scale across products and use cases.
- Help define how users collaborate with intelligent agents in real-world environments, not just experimental ones.
We’re looking for
- Strong experience building and shipping production software across both frontend and backend systems.
- Experience with modern frontend technologies such as React, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience designing and building backend services, APIs, and application logic in production.
- Comfort building interactive, stateful product experiences with complex workflows and real-time or asynchronous behavior.
- Strong product judgment and the ability to make advanced system behavior understandable to users.
- Experience working across service layers, databases, integrations, and client applications.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Interest in AI agents, workflow products, and the challenges of building trustworthy user experiences around them.
