Key Responsibility
- API Development & Integration: Design, develop, and maintain robust REST APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF) to connect the frontend and backend.
- Version Control: Initialize and manage Git repositories (GitHub/GitLab); implement branching strategies to ensure clean code merges from local to production.
- AWS Infrastructure: Architect and configure the cloud environment (EC2, S3, RDS) and handle the "Go-Live" transition.
- Deployment & Security: Execute full deployment with domain mapping and SSL (HTTPS). Ensure APIs are secured using JWT or OAuth2 authentication.
- CI/CD Pipeline: Establish automated pipelines so that API updates and frontend changes are deployed seamlessly.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for API endpoints (e.g., using Swagger or Postman collections) and server configurations.
Technical Skills Required
- Backend & APIs: Expert knowledge of Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF). Proven experience in designing RESTful architectures and handling JSON data structures.
- Frontend: Proficiency in React.js and consuming REST APIs using Axios or Fetch API.
- Cloud Services: Hands-on experience with AWS core services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Route 53).
- Database: Strong command of PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- DevOps & Tools: Mastery of Git/GitHub workflows and server management (Nginx/Gunicorn).
Deliverables
- Centralized Repository: All code pushed to a private Git repository with a clean commit history.
- Live CRM System: A fully functional, publicly accessible application hosted on AWS.
- Functional REST APIs: A secure, documented API layer connecting the React frontend to the Django database.
- Security & SSL: Working domain with HTTPS enabled and secure API endpoints.
