Role Overview - Full Stack Developers - Java I Angular I Microservices
Locations – Bangalore Development Centre
Tapplent is looking for highly skilled and passionate Full Stack Engineers with deep expertise in modern frontend engineering using Angular and strong backend development capabilities in Java Spring Boot & Microservices architecture. We are especially looking for engineers who are highly productive with modern AI-assisted engineering practices and tools, leveraging AI platforms to accelerate coding, debugging, optimization, testing, and development workflows.
You will work on a global multi-tenant SaaS platform powering the future of workforce technology and Human Capital Intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern, scalable, high-performance frontend applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Build elegant, responsive, and reusable UI/UX components for enterprise-grade SaaS applications
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
- Design secure, scalable REST APIs and distributed application services
- Work across the full software development lifecycle including architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and optimization
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools for code generation, productivity acceleration, debugging, documentation, and automation
- Optimize application performance across frontend and backend layers
- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams to deliver high-quality releases
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and engineering best practices
- Troubleshoot complex production and performance issues across the stack
- Contribute toward engineering innovation, automation, and next-generation AI-led development practices
Technical Skills
Frontend (Primary Focus)
- Strong expertise in Angular (12+ preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
- Experience building highly dynamic, responsive enterprise applications
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, component design, and performance optimization
Backend
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Expertise in REST APIs and Microservices architecture
- Understanding of distributed systems and scalable backend engineering
Databases & Infrastructure
- Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
- Experience with Docker and cloud-native environments
- Exposure to Kafka / RabbitMQ is an added advantage
AI Engineering Exposure
- Practical experience using AI coding assistants and AI developer tools for:
- Code generation
- Refactoring
- Debugging
- Unit test generation
- Documentation
- Productivity acceleration
- Comfort working in AI-enabled engineering environments and adapting to rapid technology evolution
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline from a reputed institution
- 2–6 years of experience in Full Stack Product Engineering
- Strong engineering pedigree with hands-on product development experience
- Excellent frontend development expertise with Angular
- Strong backend engineering capabilities with Java Spring Boot
- Deep understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, scalability, and SDLC
- Exposure to SaaS product engineering environments preferred
- Experience to AI/ML systems is an added advantage
