Position Overview:
We're on the lookout for highly motivated and self-driven Full Stack Developer Interns (MERN Stack) who are excited to build the future of design with Phot.AI. This isn't your typical internship — we want doers who can take ownership, figure things out, and execute with minimal supervision.
As an intern at Phot.AI, you'll get hands-on experience building real-world applications from the ground up using the MERN stack. You'll work on meaningful features, contribute to the overall architecture, and collaborate closely with our design and backend teams.
We're a team that embraces the AI-native way of building software. You'll be expected to use AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, Claude, and GitHub Copilot as a core part of your workflow — not as a shortcut, but as a force multiplier. We call this vibe coding: the ability to translate ideas into working software rapidly by pairing your engineering instincts with AI assistance. Beyond individual productivity, you'll also get to experiment with agentic AI workflows — building and orchestrating multi-step AI agents that automate complex development and product tasks end-to-end.

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain full-stack features using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, pixel-perfect, and performant web interfaces.
- Design clean, scalable, and maintainable architecture for assigned tasks or components.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code — and proactively refactor when needed.
- Collaborate with design and backend teams to ensure smooth integration and excellent user experience.
- Practice vibe coding — rapidly prototype and iterate on features using AI-assisted tools like Cursor, Claude, and Copilot, while maintaining code quality and architectural integrity.
- Design, build, and integrate AI agents into internal workflows and product features — including task automation agents, data processing pipelines, and LLM-powered features using APIs like OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar.
- Use agentic AI workflows to automate repetitive development tasks such as test generation, documentation, code reviews, and deployment scripts.
- Explore and experiment with emerging agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, etc.) and propose practical applications within the product or engineering workflows.
- Take full ownership of tasks from start to finish — with minimal hand-holding.
- Stay curious and updated with new technologies and AI trends in software development.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices within the team.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) and comfort working in a vibe coding environment.
- Exposure to AI agent development — building or working with LLM-powered agents, tool-use patterns, or multi-agent orchestration frameworks is a strong plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and AI trends.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Previous experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
