Key Responsibilities
● Full-Cycle Feature Delivery: Drive business value by owning vertical slices of the product. You will be responsible for architecting, building, and shipping complex backend features (Node.js/AWS), proving out the capabilities of our platform while delivering critical functionality to end-users. You follow the "You Build It, You Run It" philosophy.
● Architect AWS Infrastructure: Provision and CloudFormation. You will own the full lifecycle of EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and VPC networking.
● Master the Pipeline (CI/CD): Build and maintain robust deployment pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and GitHub Actions. You will implement blue/green deployments and automated rollback strategies to ensure zero-downtime releases.
● Own the Quality Gates: Take charge of our nightly automated testing infrastructure. You will configure scheduled regression runs, manage test environments, and ensure failure alerts are actionable.
● Backend & Tooling Development: Use your strong Node.js & Express.js skills to debug application issues, optimize RESTful APIs, and build internal automation tools.
● Container Orchestration: Manage container lifecycles using Docker, ECS/EKS, and Fargate, ensuring efficient scaling and resource usage.
● Observability & Security: Implement centralized logging (ELK/CloudWatch) and strict security policies (IAM, Secrets Manager) to keep our stack observable and secure.
