FULL STACK DEVELOPER:

Experience: 0 – 6 Months (Freshers Welcome)

Location: Chennai, Pune

Department: Engineering / Product Development

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We have an opening for a Full Stack Developer. Freshers and candidates with up to 6 months of experience are welcome to apply. You will work on building web applications using React.js, Python, and MongoDB, as part of a team that includes senior developers and a product manager.

If you have built projects during your graduation or training, maintain a GitHub profile, and are looking to grow in a structured environment — this role is for you.

ABOUT REVATURE:

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Frontend

• HTML5 and CSS3 — layouts, responsive design, basic animations
• React.js — functional components, hooks, React Router
• React Responsive — handling different screen sizes
• Material UI (MUI) — using and customising pre-built components
• Ability to convert designs or wireframes into working UI

Backend

• Python — comfortable writing functions, classes, and handling exceptions
• REST API development using Flask or FastAPI
• Basic understanding of how authentication works (JWT, sessions)
• Knows how to handle errors and structure API responses properly

Database

• MongoDB basics — creating collections, writing queries, understanding documents
• Used PyMongo or Mongoose in at least one project
• Comfortable writing simple aggregation queries

Version Control

• Git — commit, push, pull, branching, and merging
• GitHub — raising PRs, resolving conflicts, working in a shared repo

PREFERRED SKILLS (GOOD TO HAVE):

Infrastructure — Terraform

• Basic understanding of Terraform to provision cloud resources
• Has written or followed Terraform scripts for AWS setup

Deployment — Shell Scripts

• Comfortable writing shell scripts for build or deploy automation
• Has used or set up a basic CI/CD pipeline

AWS Serverless

• AWS Lambda — writing functions, setting up triggers via API Gateway or S3
• Hosting static sites on S3 with CloudFront
• Amazon DocumentDB for MongoDB-compatible cloud database needs
• Basic understanding of how serverless architecture works

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work on frontend screens using React.js and connect them to backend APIs
• Build Python-based REST APIs using Flask or FastAPI
• Handle MongoDB operations — read, write, update, and basic aggregations
• Write clean, readable code and participate in peer code reviews
• Coordinate with the product team to understand requirements and deliver on time
• Help with deployments to AWS using shell scripts and serverless setups
• Document your code, APIs, and any setup steps for the team
• Debug and fix issues raised during testing or production

QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.E. / B. Tech in Computer Science, IT, or a related stream (2024 / 2025 graduates only)
• 0–6 months of experience; freshers with good project work are welcome
• Must have at least 1–2 personal or academic projects using the required stack
• A GitHub profile with active repositories is a strong plus
• Good written and verbal communication — you will interact with the team daily
