Job Description - Full Stack Developer – Node.js / Progressive Web Apps (PWAs)
(Contract – 6 Months)
Location: Vellore
Contract Type: Contract – Initial 6 Months (Extendable based on performance and project needs)
About the Role
· We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on expertise in building Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) using Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB, hosted on AWS.
· The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and APIs in a modern cloud-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain PWAs with high performance and reliability
· Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js
· Work with MongoDB for schema design, queries, and performance optimization
· Implement responsive UI using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
· Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS
· Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams
· Ensure code quality, security, and scalability best practices
· Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Required Skills and Experience
Core Technical Skills
· Strong experience with Node.js frameworks
· Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
· Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
· Hands-on experience creating Progressive Web Apps (PWAs)
· Strong experience with Express.js API development
· Experience working with MongoDB (schema design, aggregation, indexing)
· Experience deploying and hosting applications on AWS
Good to Have
· Experience with authentication, authorization, and security best practices
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
· Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
· Knowledge of performance tuning and caching strategies
