Job Description:
• Highly skilled Software Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js and modern frontend frameworks (Angular and/or React).
• The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable, high-performance applications and exposure to monitoring, observability, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• This role requires strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and the ability to mentor junior developers while contributing to system architecture and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js
• Build responsive and high-performance frontend applications using Angular and/or React
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
• Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and reliability
• Implement logging, monitoring, and observability solutions (Grafana, metrics, dashboards)
• Collaborate with DevOps/SRE teams to improve system reliability and uptime
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation initiatives
Required Skills:
• Strong experience with Node.js (Express/NestJS preferred)
• Solid experience in Angular or React (experience in both is a plus)
• Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture
• Database experience (SQL/NoSQL – MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
Good to Have:
• Experience with Grafana and monitoring/observability tools
• Understanding of metrics collection (Prometheus or similar)
• Exposure to SRE principles (SLAs, SLOs, SLIs)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Cloud experience (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
