About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Software Developer to join our team dedicated to advancing Clean Energy initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining comprehensive software solutions that underpin our clean energy operations. This role requires a proactive individual capable of translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient technical applications. The developer will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, geologists, and operational staff to create platforms that facilitate data visualization, operational monitoring, compliance reporting, and decision support systems. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to sustainable energy projects by leveraging cutting-edge technology and innovative development practices.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong background in energy, mining, oil & gas, or industrial operations systems being highly desirable. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is essential. Relevant certifications in software development, cloud computing, or security will be considered advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, along with back-end technologies like Java, Python, Node.js, or .NET. A solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and integration patterns is required. Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as familiarity with data visualization tools and reporting platforms, is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are vital for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive web applications that support various Clean Energy workflows, ensuring functionality aligns with operational needs.
- Create responsive, intuitive front-end interfaces tailored for engineers, operators, and management dashboards to facilitate seamless data interaction.
- Develop robust back-end services, APIs, and core business logic to manage data processing, storage, and retrieval efficiently.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Build applications supporting exploration activities, subsurface data visualization, drilling and well information tracking, production monitoring, and environmental, safety, and compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, geologists, and operational staff to ensure application accuracy and usability.
- Integrate applications with databases, data warehouses, and cloud platforms to handle structured and unstructured data securely and efficiently.
- Consume and expose RESTful APIs for integration with GIS systems, analytics platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Implement data validation, error handling, and security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure data integrity.
- Contribute to the design of scalable, modular, and maintainable application architectures, optimizing performance for large datasets and real-time data feeds.
- Support deployment across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments, adhering to organizational standards and best practices.
- Implement secure coding practices, including authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls, to safeguard applications.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards relevant to Clean Energy operations.
- Support application monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery processes to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and system testing.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, API specifications, and user manuals to facilitate ongoing support and development.
- Participate in code reviews, promote best development practices, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for seamless project execution.
- Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines, ensuring efficient version control and release management.
