About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting clients in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to transportation safety and operations. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of transportation compliance standards. You will work closely with clients to assess their current compliance status, develop tailored strategies to address gaps, and implement best practices to ensure ongoing regulatory adherence. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation compliance, safety management, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations, including FMCSA, DOT, and other relevant agencies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency in compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess clients’ current compliance status and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement customized compliance strategies aligned with regulatory standards.
- Provide ongoing guidance and support to clients to ensure adherence to transportation regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
- Prepare and review compliance documentation, reports, and audit materials.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients on compliance-related topics.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative compliance solutions and enhance service offerings.
- Monitor changes in regulations and communicate updates to clients promptly.
- Assist in the preparation for and response to regulatory audits and inspections.
