About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack MERN Engineer to join our dynamic team on a long-term basis. This role is ideal for a high-performer who is trustworthy, autonomous, and eager to tackle complex architectural challenges. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable micro-service architectures for large web applications utilizing the MERN stack. You will collaborate closely with our veteran distributed team during IST daytime hours, participating in daily stand-ups, architecture reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess over 9 years of proven experience as a MERN Stack engineer, demonstrating expertise in ReactJS, TypeScript, and Node.js frameworks such as Koa and Express. You should have a strong track record of creating architectural patterns for large, scalable web applications and be familiar with GraphQL and REST APIs. Proficiency with MySQL/RDS and MongoDB is essential, along with a deep understanding of data integrity and performance optimization. You must be a high performer capable of writing modular, reusable, and thoroughly tested code, with experience using GitHub and version control workflows. An active interest in AI tools and developing AI-driven features is highly desirable. Candidates should be trustworthy, self-driven, and comfortable working remotely within a distributed team environment based in India.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable micro-service architectures for large web applications using MERN stack technologies.
- Write high-quality, optimized code for both Front End (ReactJS) and Back End (TypeScript, Koa, Express, Typegoose).
- Manage complex storage layers, utilizing MySQL and MongoDB to ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate effectively with the team during IST daytime hours, including daily stand-ups, architecture reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions.
- Follow SDLC best practices by writing clean, well-documented code and conducting rigorous code reviews to maintain high standards.
- Develop and execute comprehensive unit tests using Jest to guarantee reliability and stability of deliverables.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and integrate AI-driven features into the product ecosystem.
- Streamline CI/CD pipelines, utilizing automation tools to facilitate smooth and efficient deployment processes.
- Work efficiently within JIRA and AWS environments to manage tasks, infrastructure, and deployment workflows.
