About The Role
We are looking for a skilled software developer with expertise in backend and frontend development, particularly in Java (Spring Boot) and Angular, to join our dynamic team. This role involves working primarily on the web dashboard and backend services that support critical clinical functionalities. The successful candidate will be responsible for auditing and enhancing the existing codebase, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and delivering reliable, high-quality features within a compressed timeline. You will collaborate closely with our AI-driven development tools to identify and fix quality gaps, implement remaining features, and optimize system performance. Qualifications
- Extensive experience with Java and Spring Boot, particularly in developing complex business logic and healthcare-related applications.
- Proficiency in Angular, including component architecture, state management, and responsive design for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Proven ability to rapidly onboard into existing codebases, troubleshoot issues, and deliver within tight deadlines.
- Active experience with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar, demonstrating mastery in accelerating development workflows.
- Strong understanding of software testing, validation, and quality assurance in regulated environments.
- Excellent communication skills and proactive approach to collaboration, especially in distributed teams.
- Availability to coordinate overlapping hours with US Eastern Time zone for regular syncs and updates.
Responsibilities
- Audit and analyze the existing backend and frontend code to identify logic errors, edge cases, and incomplete implementations.
- Utilize AI development tools to rapidly fix bugs, enhance code quality, and implement new features according to detailed specifications and mockups.
- Ensure the clinical accuracy of the alert engine, verifying that it evaluates multiple parameters correctly and produces safe, reliable outputs.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs that serve the Angular frontend, including patient vitals, alert status, case data, and campaign metadata.
- Enhance the case management workflow backend to support multi-stage lifecycle tracking of clinical concerns.
- Implement UI enhancements for the glucose dashboard, patient detail pages, alert displays, and case worklists, ensuring responsiveness and polish.
- Conduct thorough testing, validation, and troubleshooting to meet healthcare regulatory standards, minimizing clinical and operational risks.
- Collaborate with the mobile app team and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and system coherence.
