About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack MERN Engineer to join our dynamic team on a long-term basis. This role is ideal for a top-tier developer who excels in designing and implementing complex, scalable web applications using the MERN stack. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for developing micro-service architectures, optimizing data storage solutions, and integrating AI-driven features to enhance our product offerings. You will work closely with cross-functional teams during IST daytime hours, participating in daily stand-ups, architecture reviews, and collaborative problem-solving sessions. Your expertise will directly influence the performance, reliability, and scalability of our platforms, making a tangible impact on our clients and users worldwide.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess over 9 years of proven experience as a MERN Stack engineer, demonstrating a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end development. You should have extensive expertise in ReactJS, TypeScript, Node.js frameworks such as Koa and Express, and experience with GraphQL and REST APIs. Strong familiarity with relational databases like MySQL and cloud-based solutions such as RDS, alongside NoSQL databases like MongoDB, is essential. You must be a high performer capable of writing modular, reusable, and thoroughly tested code, with a track record of creating scalable architectural patterns for large web applications. Experience with version control systems like GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools is required. An active interest in AI tools and developing AI-powered features is highly desirable. The candidate should be trustworthy, autonomous, and comfortable working remotely within a distributed team environment in India, with excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include designing and maintaining scalable micro-service architectures tailored for large web applications, utilizing the MERN stack. You will write high-quality, optimized code for both front-end (ReactJS) and back-end (TypeScript, Koa, Express), ensuring adherence to SDLC best practices. Managing complex data storage layers using MySQL and MongoDB to optimize performance and data integrity will be a core part of your role. Collaborating with the existing team during IST hours, participating in daily stand-ups, architecture reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions, is vital to foster a cohesive development environment. You will develop and execute comprehensive unit tests using Jest to guarantee the stability and reliability of your work. Additionally, you will leverage AI tools to streamline development processes and incorporate AI-driven features into our products. You will also be responsible for streamlining CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, and effectively managing tasks within JIRA and AWS environments to ensure smooth project workflows. Your proactive approach and problem-solving skills will be essential in maintaining high standards of code quality and system performance.
