About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack MERN Engineer to join our dynamic team on a long-term basis. This role is ideal for an expert-level developer who excels in designing and implementing scalable web applications using the MERN stack. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting micro-service solutions, writing high-quality code, and collaborating closely with our distributed team during IST daytime hours. Your expertise will contribute to building robust, innovative features that enhance our platform’s performance and user experience. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing modern development practices, AI tools, and automation to ensure seamless deployment and continuous improvement of our products.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess over 9 years of proven experience as a MERN Stack engineer, demonstrating a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end development. Expertise in ReactJS, TypeScript, Node.js frameworks such as Koa and Express, and experience with database management using MySQL and MongoDB are essential. Candidates should have a solid track record of creating scalable architectural patterns for large web applications, with familiarity in GraphQL and REST APIs. Strong skills in version control workflows, particularly with GitHub, and a proactive approach to utilizing AI tools for development are highly valued. Candidates must be trustworthy, self-motivated, and comfortable working remotely within India, with the ability to participate actively in daily stand-ups and team collaborations.
Responsibilities
The Senior Full Stack MERN Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable micro-service architectures tailored for large web applications. This includes writing optimized, modular, and well-documented code for both front-end (ReactJS) and back-end (TypeScript, Koa, Express). Managing complex storage layers involving MySQL and MongoDB to ensure data integrity and performance is a key aspect of this role. The engineer will participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and follow SDLC best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. Developing comprehensive unit tests using Jest will be vital to guarantee the stability and reliability of the platform. The role also involves streamlining CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, and leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and incorporate AI-driven features into our product. Working efficiently within JIRA and AWS environments to manage tasks and infrastructure is also expected.
