About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack MERN Engineer to join our dynamic team on a long-term basis. This role is ideal for a high-performer who is autonomous, trustworthy, and eager to tackle complex architectural challenges. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable micro-service architectures that power large web applications. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the technical direction of our products, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and integrating innovative AI-driven features to enhance user experience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess over 9 years of proven experience as a MERN Stack engineer, demonstrating a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end development. You should have a strong portfolio of building large-scale, scalable web applications with robust architectural patterns. Proficiency in ReactJS, TypeScript, Node.js frameworks such as Koa and Express, and experience with GraphQL and REST APIs are essential. Additionally, you should have extensive experience working with relational databases like MySQL/RDS and NoSQL databases like MongoDB. Familiarity with version control systems such as Github, and a keen interest in AI tools and features, are highly desirable. The candidate must be self-driven, trustworthy, and capable of thriving in a remote, distributed team environment based in India.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable micro-service architectures for large web applications utilizing the MERN stack.
• Develop high-quality, optimized code for both front-end (ReactJS) and back-end (TypeScript, Koa, Express, Typegoose) components.
• Manage complex storage layers, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization with MySQL and MongoDB.
• Collaborate closely with the existing team during IST daytime hours, participating in daily stand-ups and architecture reviews to share knowledge and align project goals.
• Adhere to SDLC best practices by writing clean, well-documented code and conducting rigorous code reviews to maintain code quality.
• Develop and execute comprehensive unit tests using Jest to ensure the stability and reliability of deliverables.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and contribute to the development of AI-driven features within our products.
• Streamline CI/CD pipelines, utilizing automation tools to facilitate smooth deployment and integration processes.
• Effectively manage tasks and infrastructure within JIRA and AWS environments, ensuring timely delivery and operational excellence.
