About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled PHP Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that serve our educational platform. You will work across the full technology stack, from backend development to frontend implementation, ensuring seamless user experiences and robust functionality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building scalable, efficient, and user-friendly applications from start to finish. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to bring innovative features to life that align with our mission of enhancing student success.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess at least 4+ years of experience in developing consumer-facing web applications. A strong interest in full-stack development and a love for building features end-to-end are essential. You should be a self-starter with a deep passion for technology, eager to contribute ideas and influence engineering practices positively. An eye for design and attention to detail will help ensure our products are not only functional but also visually appealing. Familiarity with modern development practices and a willingness to adapt to evolving technology stacks are important. Prior experience with the specified technologies is a plus but not mandatory for highly skilled candidates who demonstrate a strong learning aptitude.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP, Laravel, and other relevant technologies.
- Implement intuitive and responsive front-end interfaces utilizing Vanilla JS, jQuery, Vue.js, and React.
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and actionable tasks.
- Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of applications through best coding practices and testing.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to bring innovative solutions to the team.
- Assist in database management and optimization using MySQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
- Contribute to DevOps activities when necessary, including familiarity with Kubernetes and ElasticSearch.
- Maintain clear documentation of code, architecture, and processes for team reference and onboarding.
