Company Description
We are building a new-age, tech-led digital lending business focused on small-ticket, short-tenure unsecured loans for Indian customers. We are building our technology and lending infrastructure from the ground up, with a strong focus on scalability, automation, security, and customer experience.
Role Description
We are looking for a passionate Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in React.js and Node.js and preferably 3+ years of hands-on development experience. You will work directly with the founding team to build and scale our digital lending platform. This is a high-ownership role where you will be involved in product development, architecture decisions, integrations, performance optimization, and solving real-world engineering and compliance challenges.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using React.js for the frontend and Node.js for the backend.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and production-ready code.
• Work closely with product, business, operations, and leadership teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, databases, and internal systems.
• Optimize applications for performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and technical architecture discussions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve platform reliability.
• Use modern AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and related plugins/tools to improve development speed, debugging, and engineering productivity.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of relevant software development experience preferred.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, and Node.js.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, backend architecture, and Git.
• Experience building production-ready applications or full-stack products from scratch.
• A strong portfolio, GitHub profile, or demonstrated experience with meaningful software projects.
• Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of modern web design principles, responsive interfaces, and good UI/UX practices.
• Strong problem-solving ability and comfort working independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Willingness to work 5 days a week from our Gurugram office.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Python.
• Exposure to Data Science, Analytics, or data engineering.
• Experience with Android/mobile development using Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter.
• Prior experience in FinTech, lending, payments, financial services, or other transactional technology products is a plus.
Work Experience
3+ years preferred.
Work Location
Gurugram — Work from Office, 5 days a week.
Expected CTC
₹15–18 LPA, depending on experience, technical capabilities, and overall fit.
