Brela Innovations Private Limited is a government-supported startup borne out of IIT Kanpur and KGMU, Lucknow.
We are looking for a
Full Stack Developer to build and scale software systems that interface closely with custom hardware devices. This role involves developing backend systems, mobile applications, and ensuring seamless communication between hardware and software.
Job Description:
Title – Full Stack Developer
Experience - 1+ years of experience
Job Type - Permanent (On-site)
Location- IIT Kanpur
Salary – As per industry norms
Key Responsibilities:
Backend & Device Integration
Develop backend APIs (Node.js / Python) for device communication and control
Build systems for data acquisition, processing, and device management
Handle real-time data flow and system reliability
Ensure scalable and low-latency architecture
Mobile Application Development
Develop cross-platform mobile applications (Android & iOS) using React Native
Build intuitive interfaces for device interaction and data visualization
Integrate mobile apps with backend services
Database & Cloud
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases
Deploy and manage services on AWS or similar cloud platforms
Implement CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems
Testing & Collaboration
Debug and resolve issues across backend, mobile apps, and system integration
Use tools like Git, Postman, and logging frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
Required Skills
Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React
Mobile: React Native
Backend: Node.js (preferred), Python
Database: SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL), MongoDB
Version Control: Git
Basic understanding of cloud and DevOps practices
Preferred Skills
Experience working with hardware-integrated systems / IoT
Familiarity with device communication workflows
Exposure to system-level debugging and integration
Additional (Good to Have)
Exposure to AI/ML integration in applications
Interest in working on data-driven systems
Educational qualifications B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech / Diploma in Computer Science or related fields.
