Overview
We are seeking a talented Full-Stack Developer with 3–5 years of experience to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will build high-performance frontend applications using Angular (preferred) and develop scalable backend services with Node.js.
You’ll work on a financial/budgeting platform, focusing on performance, reliability, and seamless third-party API integrations in a high-traffic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Frontend Development
Develop responsive, high-performance UI components using Angular (preferred) or React.js
Manage application state using NgRx, RxJS (Angular) or Redux (React)
Collaborate with UX/UI teams to translate wireframes into functional interfaces
Backend Development
Build and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js
Design and implement robust RESTful APIs
Integrate third-party APIs and ensure reliable data processing with retry/queue mechanisms
Database & Performance
Design and optimise PostgreSQL databases for high-volume transactional data
Implement Redis caching to improve system performance
Monitor and enhance application speed, scalability, and reliability
API & Security
Develop secure APIs using JWT and OAuth 2.0
Follow best practices using OpenAPI/Swagger documentation
Ensure code quality through reviews and adherence to standards
Collaboration
Work closely with stakeholders to define technical requirements
Communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs clearly
Participate in Agile processes (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
