Overview
We are looking for a skilled Full-Stack Developer with 3–5 years of experience to design and build high-performance frontend interfaces and scalable backend services within a financial and budgeting product domain.
Candidates with strong expertise in Angular are preferred. However, developers experienced in React and willing to transition to Angular will also be considered.
Job Description
Frontend Development
- Build responsive, high-performance UI components using Angular (primary) or React.js.
- Manage complex application state using:
- NgRx
- RxJS (Angular)
- Redux (React)
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into functional interfaces.
Backend Development
- Design and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs.
- Integrate third-party APIs for financial and budgeting workflows.
- Implement retry mechanisms and message queuing to ensure reliable API processing under load.
Database & Performance
- Design and optimize schemas in PostgreSQL for high-volume transactional data.
- Implement caching strategies using Redis.
- Monitor and improve application performance, including page load speed and API response times.
API Design & Security
- Create secure, well-documented APIs following REST and OpenAPI / Swagger standards.
- Implement authentication and authorization using JWT and OAuth 2.0.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Nice to Have
- Experience working on fintech, ERP, or budgeting platforms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization using Docker and cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud.
- Exposure to Elasticsearch for reporting or search functionality.
- Experience with API documentation tools such as Swagger / OpenAPI.
