Hiring: Developer who's also a bit of a nerd about AI (and doesn't flinch at video)
I run a video production studio launch films, founder content, and short-form for companies whose products are often invisible (APIs, agents, infra). Looking to bring on a developer to help build out tools/systems for the studio.
What you'll actually be doing:
- Building internal tools and automations (think AI pipelines, content workflows that save us hours)
- Occasionally touching video-adjacent work — automating parts of editing/production, not full-time editing
Who you are:
- Can actually code — not "took a Udemy course," but ships things
- Genuinely into AI — you read about model releases for fun, you have opinions on agents vs workflows, you're not learning what an LLM is from this post
- Some familiarity with video/content tools is a big plus (After Effects, Premiere, or just understanding how short-form content works) — doesn't need to be your main skill
- Bonus: you've built side projects, even ones that failed. I care more about reps than resumes.
Setup:
- Remote
- Fast-paced, low-bureaucracy — you'll talk directly to me, not five layers of management
