About Us
We're a Canadian agency that builds websites for mortgage agents. We currently serve 50+ mortgage professionals across Canada with custom websites and a centralized mortgage calculator system that's embedded across all our client sites. We're growing and looking for a developer who can help us scale.
The Role
We're hiring a full-stack developer to take ownership of two areas of our work:
- Build modern, animated marketing websites for new mortgage agent clients. You'll work from Figma designs and use AI coding tools (Replit, Claude, Cursor) to ship beautiful static sites quickly, then refine and polish the output.
- Maintain and extend our centralized calculator system, which powers mortgage calculators distributed across 50+ client websites.
You'll be the technical backbone of our delivery process — fast, design-sensitive on the front end, and dependable on the back end.
What You'll Do
- Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive static websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Tailwind.
- Add polished animations and motion effects using GSAP and other modern animation tools.
- Use AI coding tools effectively to accelerate development, then clean up and harden the output for production.
- Deploy and manage sites on standard hosting (Bluehost, Netlify, Vercel, Cloudflare Pages).
- Maintain and improve our existing Node.js calculator backend.
- Build new front-end features and calculators using React and Next.js.
- Ensure all sites are fast, mobile-responsive, cross-browser compatible, and SEO-friendly.
Required Skills
- Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (vanilla — no framework dependency).
- Tailwind CSS proficiency.
- GSAP or equivalent animation library experience.
- React and Next.js.
- Node.js for backend maintenance and development.
- Git and GitHub workflows.
- Comfort working with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude, Replit, v0).
- Experience converting Figma designs to production-ready code.
- Responsive design and cross-browser testing.
Nice to Have
- TypeScript.
- Experience with Lottie or Spline for advanced animations.
- Performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse).
- Basic SEO knowledge.
- Portfolio of animated or motion-rich websites.
What We're Looking For
- Strong design sense — you can tell when something looks polished versus generic.
- Fast and self-directed — you can take a Figma file and ship a live site without heavy hand-holding.
- Quality-conscious — you catch the mobile bugs, the Safari quirks, and the small details that make sites feel professional.
- Comfortable with AI tools but not dependent on them — you know when to prompt and when to write code by hand.
