ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Within the realm of the job, maintains a clean and safe work environment. Performs duties in compliance with safety procedures, which includes use of safety equipment.
- Incumbents are responsible for following safety procedures, identifying unsafe practices or conditions, and informing their supervisor or the Safety Committee of unsafe conditions, as directed.
- Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
- Serves guests with beverages promptly and courteously.
- Promotes events in gaming, slots, restaurants, and other areas as required or requested. Answers guests' questions regarding casino operations.
- Develops, maintains, and enhances positive relations with all guests and employees.
- Wears and maintains all uniforms properly, including nametag and Gaming License.
- Performs all duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act and internal policies and procedures.
- Alerts the supervisor of any concerns regarding the quality, selection, and variety of beverages.
- Complies with established security policies and procedures and informs their supervisor of any concerns.
- Maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities and a general awareness of bar operations at all times. Keeps their supervisor informed of any concerns.
- Verifies customers are 21+ years of age and provides them with a wristband.
- Monitors guests for intoxication. If applicable, discontinues alcohol sales and informs security and the immediate supervisor/casino manager. Alerts the supervisor/casino manager and security regarding guests who may be difficult or possibly violent.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrated cocktail server experience, preferably within a hospitality, restaurant, or gaming environment. Demonstrated strong customer service skills. Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure. Demonstrated experience in problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from high school or the equivalent in education or experience. One (1) or more years of recent and related cocktailing experience, preferably within a hospitality, restaurant, or gaming environment.
A Colorado Limited Gaming Support License is required. Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
