Responsibilities: Plan and manage capacity of database management systems Lead, build and manage on and offshore global Database support teams Schedule Database patching for production and lower environments Plan and strategize backup and DR processes Provide audit and governance requirements Maintaining detailed technical documentation Leads efforts to define database strategy, architecture, standards and procedures to preserve the integrity and security of company data resources Lead team to troubleshoot database problems and implement corrective measures as required Join our Database team as a Lead DBA and design, implement, and maintain the systems that are instrumental to business function Develop your skills and expand your abilities by working with new systems and software Requirements Essential Skills: Must have knowledge of IT concepts such as DB design, DB layout, DB structures, DB stored procedures, DB tables, DB optimization, TCP/IP, IT security concepts and practices Must be an expert in SQL Server along with a very good understanding of Oracle and knowledge of Informix, DB2, MongoDB, DynamoDB and any other databases Must be a self-starter with a great attitude, not afraid to take the initiative, and work with little supervision. Ability to analyze and write business and technical specifications and interact with IT and auditor teams. A degree in information technology/computer information systems or related. 6 + years of work experience in database support and management. Clear understanding of IT Operations, Software Development and Release Management using GitHub. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills. GitHub, ServiceNow, Jira, MS Office, SQL, etc.
