About the role

ABOUT FTAI AVIATION LTD. (NASDAQ: FTAI)

FTAI owns and maintains commercial jet engines with a focus on the Maintenance, Repair and Exchange (MRE) of CFM56 and V2500 engines. FTAI’s propriety portfolio of products, including The Module Factory and a joint venture to distribute engine PMA helps make CFM56 and V2500 engine maintenance simpler, more cost-effective, significantly faster, and more environmentally friendly. Additionally, FTAI owns and leases jet aircraft which often facilitates the acquisition of engines at attractive prices. FTAI invests in aviation assets and aerospace products that generate strong and stable cash flows with the potential for earnings growth and asset appreciation.

FTAI operates globally and has offices in New York, Miami, Montreal, Singapore, Dubai, United Kingdom and Ireland.

JOB OVERVIEW

This position supports the day-to-day execution of CFM56 engine and module programs. This role operates in a hybrid, cross-functional structure, working closely with internal FTAI stakeholders and external third-party customers. The analyst will be embedded in the shop environment and serve as the on-site lead for both internal and external customer engagement, ensuring engine and module workscopes are executed efficiently and aligned with program goals.

This role also plays a key part in supporting our growing MRE (Module Repair and Exchange) business, helping to manage the full lifecycle of module repairs, swaps, and returns with an emphasis on speed, value, and operational accuracy.

As part of the broader Global Asset Management team, the analyst will collaborate across functions—including engineering for workscope definition, supply chain for material solutions, and finance for cost modeling and analysis—to drive timely, cost-effective, and value-maximizing shop visit outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the on-site focal point for the execution of CFM56 engine and module repairs for both FTAI-owned and third-party assets.
  • Provide direct operational and tracking support to FTAI’s Module Repair and Exchange (MRE) business—including coordinating inbound modules, managing swaps, tracking repair status, and supporting module reintegration.
  • Track and manage all engine and module assets entering or exiting the main facility, as well as those temporarily located at other local facilities, shops, or storage areas.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset management trackers, including status, location, delivery timelines, and key milestones.
  • Operate in a hybrid structure, working cross-functionally with:
    • Engineering to define and validate workscopes and inspection findings
    • Supply Chain to secure and align material requirements and alternatives
    • Finance/Cost Analysts to support shop visit modeling, forecasting, and economic evaluations
    • Production to track status, risk, and customer deliverables
  • Monitor and manage work-in-progress (WIP) across multiple assets, ensuring on-time execution and resolution of blockers.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is provided and validated to support engine or module repairs.
  • Present inspection results and recommendations to the customer and obtain timely approvals.
  • Manage and track any revisions and maintain detailed engine/module workscopes based on technical requirements, asset strategy, and commercial constraints.
  • Participate in daily shop floor coordination meetings and communicate evolving priorities to production, planning, and logistics teams.
  • Oversee and lead material review boards to determine parts disposition and identify exchange opportunities.
  • Present creative and cost-effective material solutions that align with technical and contractual requirements.
  • Provide regular status updates including customer-facing progress reviews.
  • Track and close out customer action items and deliverables in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Utilize ERP systems (such as Quantum) and internal tools to monitor asset status, trigger actions, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics of customer-owned equipment and parts.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to streamline shop visit execution and enhance asset value.
  • Act as the primary communication channel, ensuring strong relationships and alignment across internal and external teams.
  • Support ad-hoc initiatives and special projects as assigned by leadership, including process improvement and cross-functional pilots.

 Qualifications:

  • College degree in business, aviation, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical operations, customer-facing, or asset management role in the aviation/MRO industry.
  • Strong understanding of CFM56 engine platforms, with experience in engine or module-level maintenance preferred.
  • Proven ability to work within cross-functional structures involving engineering, supply chain, finance, and operations.
  • Highly organized with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Comfortable with technical and financial documentation (e.g., proposals, quotes, invoices, cost models).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (Quantum strongly preferred).
  • Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and support after-hours activity when required.
  • Focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and delivering value to both internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in engine asset management or shop visit execution, particularly for CFM56.
  • Familiarity with commercial and contractual structures governing engine programs.
  • Experience managing internal and third-party customer relationships.
  • Hands-on experience using Quantum or equivalent ERP/MRO systems.

Job Demands:
