JOB OVERVIEW


The incumbent is responsible for the leadership and direction for repair services of all LRUs & Engine Accessories sent to suppliers for repair. The Senior Repair administrator is responsible for ensuring all key objectives are met by the team for the benefit of FTAI Aviation. Team members are in both centralized and in decentralized locations across Canada & the UA.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the execution of strategies related to repair services through the Repair Order Life Cycle including same-day flow on order commitments,timelypromise dating,monitoringon-time delivery and revised delivery dates, price adherence at the PO level to contracts, and PO discrepancy resolution
  • Providing 1st level direct support to both leadership and direction to the active buyer team
  • Facilitating the team performance to ensure operational targets for keyobjectivesare met
  • Ensuring daily shortages, deviations, and escalations are resolved and communicated
  • Leading vendor management calls and supporting daily operations reviews
  • Identifyingand implementing corrective actions
  • Working closely with internal customers to develop/deploy creative solutions to related issuesregardingRepair Orders and Vendors
  • Developing/implementing robust,systemicand repeatable processes that provide both efficiency and effectiveness
  • Preparing reports, spreadsheets and presentations for management review of the business and other reporting requirements as needed including customer-centric reviews

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years relevant experience in similar Industrial and/or Aerospace positions
  • Strong Knowledge of Engine Repair Cycle & Maintenance Operations (desired)
  • Ability to assess business risk and make decisionsrelativeto the operationalobjectivesand targets, multitask and prioritize
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency, customer-first attitude, organizationalawarenessand behaviors
  • Mentor andfacilitaterelationships between Operations, Programs and Contracts
  • Financial knowledge related to make vs buy, repair vs BER and similar related.

Key Competencies: 

  • Fluent in speaking,writingand reading English and French (obligatory)
  • Be highly motivated, proactive, and take ownership of tasks and projects
  • Teamwork culture including developing andmaintainingrelationships
  • Have strong written and verbal communications skills
  • High level sense of initiative and urgency
  • Demonstrateproficiencyin the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Have experience using procurement tools
  • Strong ability to work independently
  • Understanding of Aerospace Repair Management Cycle (desired)

Job Demands:

Work is performed in a Shop environment and requires the ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb to reach materials, and work in a noisy environment.
