About FSS: FSS is a premier destination for authentic culinary experiences, specializing in high-quality continental cuisine with a focus on traditional Italian dishes. We are expanding our team and looking for passionate chefs to join us. Positions Available: Chef de Partie (CDP)/Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) - 1 Commis II position - 2 Key Responsibilities: We prepare authentic Neapolitan pizzas and a variety of homemade pastas, including ravioli, lasagna, and house-made sauces. We also create other traditional Italian and continental dishes. Maintaining consistency and high-quality presentation of all food items is crucial to our success. Supporting kitchen operations by maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and food storage is essential. We collaborate with the team to innovate and refine menu offerings, ensuring they meet our high standards. Managing stock levels, assisting in ordering supplies, and minimizing waste are key responsibilities. We train and guide junior staff, helping them develop their skills and confidence. Requirements: We require proven experience in a similar role within a 3/4/5-star hotel or renowned Italian/Continental restaurant. Expertise in making Neapolitan pizzas and fresh handmade pastas (ravioli, lasagna, etc.) is necessary. A strong understanding of traditional continental and Italian cooking techniques is required. A culinary diploma or equivalent certification is preferred. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are essential for success in this role. We expect flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays. High attention to detail, creativity, and passion for authentic cooking are essential qualities for this position.
