Welcome to FSC! The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a globally recognized non-profit organization at the forefront of promoting sustainable forestry. With over 150 million hectares of certified forests and a trusted reputation among NGOs, consumers, and businesses, FSC is leading the way in ensuring the long-term health and resilience of the world's forests. The Climate and Ecosystem Services program is responsible for the Ecosystem Services Procedure (ES PRO), which enables organizations to sponsor responsible forestry projects that make a real difference in the fight against climate change, biodiversity loss, and other global challenges. FSC is currently revising the ES PRO to expand the incorporation and recognition of cultural values and practices of Indigenous and Traditional Peoples, as well as create specific claims. We are seeking an engaged Climate and Ecosystem Services Officer with solid expertise and a passion for FSC's mission to collaborate with us in a multinational environment.
