Analyst, Engineering Application Owner

The successful candidate is expected to:

• Develop and maintain apps using Python, SQL, Reactjs, Java
• Build and manage data pipelines on Databricks, DBT, Snowflake, RSL (Report Specification Language-Geneva) and RDL (Report Definition Language)
• Experience with non functional aspects like performance management, scalability and availability
• Work closely with front-office, operations, and finance teams to enhance reporting and analysis for alternative investments
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive automation, workflow efficiencies, and reporting enhancements
• Troubleshoot system issues, implement enhancements, and ensure optimal system performance ensuring follow the sun model for end to end coverage for the applications

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years experience in enterprise software development, production management, preferably within financial services.
• Experience with at least one programming language - Python, Java, Reactjs, SQL
• Experience working with alternative investments and their reporting requirements
• Hands-on experience in relational databases and complex query authoring.
• Comfortable with fast-moving work environment with quick iterations.
• Must be able to work out of our Bangalore office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of AWS/Azure services
• Prior experience in asset management/private equity domain
