At Fruitist, we’re seeking an innovative, entrepreneurial leader to drive analytics excellence across our enterprise. Reporting to the Head of Data, the Platform Product Manager will play a pivotal role in building the future of analytics at Agrovision and fostering a data-driven culture. You'll own data science solutions end-to-end—from identifying and prioritizing key challenges to delivering insights and measuring business impact. Acting as a bridge between technical and business teams, you’ll help address complex commercial and operational challenges, turning data into actionable strategies that fuel sustainable agriculture and innovation. This role is remote, with priority given to those who reside in Chicago, Boston, New York, Dallas or Miami.

What You’ll Do

  • Transform business needs into technical solutions, bridging the gap between strategy and execution – converting business problems into data products and solutions
  • Champion the development team, clearing roadblocks, flagging issues, and driving momentum forward for engineering and data scientists
  • Lead the design and implementation of data and analytics projects, ensuring smooth technical development and delivery through partnership with Senior Data Scientists
  • Safeguard the integrity of data and analytics models, by incorporating rigorous testing and validation practices for teams for reliable insights.
  • Promote cutting-edge technologies, offering innovative ideas to enhance Agrovision’s technical capabilities
  • Own the end-user experience, prioritizing analytics solutions and maintaining a clear, strategic use case backlog
  • Collaborate across functions, translating complex challenges into precise technical requirements
  • Drive solutions from concept to deployment, focusing on user-centered design, change management, and impact measurement

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Biostatistics, Economics, or Data Science
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in roles like data science, data engineering, consulting, or product ownership. Hands-on experience in a data science or data engineering role is a plus
  • Proven track record in managing data products and teams, with strong technical leadership skills and deep understanding of data analytics systems and capabilities, driving data-driven decision-making
  • Deep understanding of data analytics systems and capabilities, driving data-driven decision-making
  • Understanding of data science techniques, including Forecasting, Recommendation Systems, Optimization, Segmentation Analysis,
  • Experience with modern data engineering technologies, such as Databricks, PySpark/Spark, and AWS
  • Skilled in facilitating agile ceremonies and managing Scrum delivery practices, managing backlogs and release plans, and tracking team metrics
  • Exceptional communicator, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messages and thrives under pressure, delivering results in dynamic, deadline-driven settings
