🧩 Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Production Leader / FRP Plant Manager to lead and coordinate multiple Lamination, Filament Winding, and supporting production crews for the manufacturing of large-diameter FRP ducts, piping, and related composite components.

The role is responsible for end-to-end production operations, ensuring high-quality output, safety compliance, efficiency, and on-time delivery. The position also includes training teams, setting up work processes, and driving continuous improvement across the plant.


🏭 Key Responsibilities

1. Production Floor Management

  • Plan, direct, and supervise production activities across all FRP manufacturing stages
  • Coordinate lamination, winding, finishing, and support crews on the shop floor
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality FRP products as per project schedules
  • Manage ordering and availability of raw materials and consumables
  • Lead, train, and supervise 40–50 production employees
  • Ensure maintenance, uptime, and availability of production equipment

2. Quality Control

  • Inspect finished FRP products for compliance with quality standards
  • Maintain high-quality output through daily shop-floor engagement
  • Monitor accuracy and consistency of each production step
  • Reduce non-conformities, rework, and quality defects
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes aligned with business goals

3. Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce all safety policies and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free manufacturing environment
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Oversee safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous chemicals
  • Ensure emergency preparedness and safety awareness across teams

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain production reports, logs, and operational documentation
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all plant records

🎓 Qualifications & Skills


Mandatory

  • 8+ years of experience in FRP manufacturing or equivalent composite/plastics industries
  • 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a production environment
  • B.Sc. / B.E. in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • Strong understanding of FRP materials, processes, and manufacturing practices
  • Knowledge of handling, mixing, curing, and processing composite materials
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Experience managing 30–40+ shop-floor employees
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Strong focus on safety, compliance, and discipline
  • No allergies to fiberglass or composite chemicals
  • Willingness to work overtime when required
  • Strong English communication skills – mandatory


Preferred

  • Prior experience managing hazardous or high-risk industrial plants
  • Experience in the plastics / composites industry relevant to FRP production
  • Flexible, proactive, and hands-on leadership style
  • Willingness to travel internationally for initial hands-on plant training
  • Experience managing teams including piping, grinding/finishing, welding, forklift operators, and general workers
